BMI have launched a weekday service between Glasgow and Copenhagen, via Leeds Bradford Airport, leaving Glasgow at 8:35, arriving in Copenhagen at 12:55. Combined with the current Glasgow to Copenhagen direct service, business men now have the possibility to arrange late afternoon meetings in Copenhagen, travelling back and forth on the same day.

EasyJet started its Belfast to Ibiza summer route this weekend. The route will be flown by EasyJet until September 8th, with fares starting around £50 return inclusive taxes.

Book by July 17th, Virgin Atlantic has discounted flights to many destinations across the world for travel starting in August.

Norwegian Air Shuttle have announced the start of a new route between its Oslo base and the island of Longyearbyen on the island of Svalbard – one of the most northerly settlements in the world. Starting March 27th 2008 they will fly twice weekly, on Thursday and Sunday with tickets starting at 700 NOK (100 Euro) excluding taxes and charges.
